1/22/2019 2 Comments NatureIn this assignment, students were required to take a photo involving nature in some way. I chose to focus on light coming through the trees on a snowy landscape. I experimented with lens flare across the branches of pine trees and deciduous trees. I also tried to capture the rays of light and add dimension to the photos. I learned from this assignment how angles can drastically change a photo. By tilting my camera and moving my position, I was able to capture different perspectives and experiment with either having the sun in the photo and having lens flare or not having the sun in the photo and focusing on the rays of light on the trees and snow.

I really like the way you used the lens flare in your pictures, it adds a nice touch to the picture. Also the way you used shadows from the trees gave the picture lots of contrast without confusing what the subject of the picture was.

I like how the sunshine comes through the branches with that bright spot in the middle of the picture. It is really clearly intentional, and therefore works really well with the composition of the dark branches and the snow. Great photo!
